LJM Partners recognizes the importance of helping others in the world and has incorporated gifting into the firm’s corporate culture for over 10 years. In 2010, LJM Partners established the LJM Foundation; a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth causes around the globe. The LJM Foundation facilitates the allocation of profits to youth charities, and is committed to building orphanages in Kenya and Guatemala, educating impoverished children in Haiti, funding neonatology research at Loyola University Health System, and supporting at-risk children in Chicago’s northwest suburbs.

The LJM Foundation is proud to be the founder of Summit 54 with a mission to elevate the rate of college entry by inner city youth, and give them the tools necessary to achieve their ultimate societal and professional success. Summit 54 is a unique program requiring over 1600 hours of commitment for academic, emotional, and social development, culminating in college entry with guaranteed financial support. To launch Summit 54, LJM Partners is financing one hundred percent of the start up costs and will present a $1 million donation in September to initiate the Summit 54 scholarship endowment.
